ISTANBUL - STRADDLING EUROPE & ASIA
Day 1 (Thursday 21 April). Arrive IstanbulOn arrival in Istanbul, be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to settle in or explore the city as you choose. This evening meet your travelling companions and Tour Director at a Welcome Reception. Three night stay: Istanbul, Grand Hyatt Hotel.
Day 2 (Friday 22 April). Istanbul Sightseeing
This morning, enjoy a tour of Istanbul. Drive by Taksim Square, the hippodrome and Galata Tower. You’ll also visit the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, a former patriarchal basilica, then a mosque and now a museum that is one of the world’s best surviving examples of Byzantine architecture. This evening, gather with your fellow travellers for a Welcome Dinner during which you’ll be entertained by a Turkish belly dancing performance.

Day 3 (Saturday 23 April). Istanbul
Freedom of Choice Touring. This morning, select your touring activity in Istanbul. You may choose to embark on a tour of Topkapi Palace, the official and primary residence of the Ottoman Sultans from 1465 to 1853. Alternatively, relax with a traditional Turkish bath experience and massage. Or you may like to visit the impressive Rustem Pasha Mosque then wander around the Spice Bazaar, before indulging in lunch at the well-known Orient Express railway restaurant.

GALLIPOLI & DAWN SERVICE
Day 4 (Sunday 24 April). Istanbul, Anzac Cove & GallipoliLeave Istanbul early this morning and travel via Tekirdag to the Gallipoli Peninsula. Arrive in Gelibolu, and visit the Gelibolu War Museum, then enjoy lunch in the town centre. Continue to the national park area for a guided sightseeing tour of the war memorials, including Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair and 57th cemetery. Later, you’ll head to Anzac Cove to settle in for the Dawn Service. Here, you will be accommodated in a secure outdoor area featuring entertainment such as live broadcasting from Australia and New Zealand, musical performances as well as interviews. Our experienced guides will accompany you throughout the evening. STAY: Gallipoli Peninsula (facilities are extremely limited and crowds here will be large. As you will be spending the night outdoors, a sleeping bag will be provided, however please be mindful that it will become cool overnight).

Day 5 (Monday 25 April). Anzac Dawn Service, Anzac Cove & Gallipoli Peninsula
As the sun breaks the skyline at Anzac Cove on this special day, take part in the somber occasion of the traditional Anzac Day Dawn Service and commemorate our fallen ancestors at 5.30am. For those who wish, take the opportunity to walk Lone Pine for the Australian service. Please note that this can be a challenging 2.5 kilometre walk (approximately one hour) on both flat and uphill pathways. Should you prefer, you will be able to view the Australian service from your position at Anzac Cove via telecast on the big screen. Afterwards, regather and board your coach for return journey to Istanbul. On arrival, check in to your hotel for dinner and a well earned rest. Stay: Istanbul, Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Day 6 (Tuesday 26 April). Depart Istanbul.
After breakfast your tour concludes and you are transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
